Chapter Text

Barry was sitting at the Karaoke bar waiting for Caitlin to show up so that they could find out information on Peekaboo so that they could stop her and put her boyfriend back in prison. Barry surprisingly got there before Caitlin did, so he got them a table and just sat there and watched the people on stage that seemed to be enjoying making fools out of themselves. He was having fun watching these people, but that changed when his friend showed up at the table in a dress that fit her just right and showed off all of her curves. Barry’s mouth just about hit the floor.
“Wow Caitlin. You look great.” Barry said.
“Thanks Barry. So, have you seen either of the people we are here to spy on yet?” Caitlin said while blushing from the compliment that Barry paid her.
“Not yet. I was just enjoying watching these people make fools of themselves.” Barry said.
“Great. That sounds like fun. I am going to get a drink. Do you want one?” Caitlin asked.
“Caitlin, you know alcohol doesn’t work on me.” Barry said.
“I know, but it will keep up appearances.” Caitlin said.
“Sure. I will have a beer, and I will get the next round.” Barry said.
“You are on Mr. Allen.” Caitlin said as she went to the bar to order their drinks.
While Caitlin was gone Barry couldn’t help but think of how beautiful Caitlin looked tonight. He had always thought she was pretty and he knew that she would be the perfect girl for him being that she already knew his secret, but he just couldn’t get over Iris. He thought to himself, “Maybe I should try to move on from Iris. I mean she is with Eddie after all, and it does look like Caitlin is trying to move on, so why shouldn’t I.” Barry soon had a beer sitting in front of him and his beautiful co-worker sitting beside him.
“So, still no Peekaboo?” Caitlin asked.
“Not that I have seen so far. They might get here late. Are you willing to stay for a while?” Barry asked.
“I have nothing planned for the rest of the night. I will be your partner.” Caitlin said.
“Thanks Caitlin. So, I was wondering how you were doing with things with Ronnie? Are things getting any better for you?” Barry asked.
“It is still hard because I loved him so much, but I know that he is not coming back, and he wouldn’t want me to live my life alone, so I am going to try and move on and do things that are fun when I have the chance. Like coming here with you tonight. Thanks for asking me to come by the way.” Caitlin said.
“I am glad that you could make it. I know it is not the same kind of situation, but I am trying to move on from Iris, and I think tonight was just what the doctor ordered. I just am not as close with Iris as I was before the coma. I think you and Cisco are now my best friends.” Barry said.
“I feel the same way about you Barry.” Caitlin said, but her mind continued on to say, “I might even feel a bit more for you.”
Caitlin shook her head of that thought, but then she heard something else in her head say, “Caity, you know you want to have sex with the man. Get drunk so that he has to take you home. Once we get there, I will use my powers to sober you up so that the boyscout doesn’t think that he is taking advantage of you, then you can tell him about me to explain how you sobered up so quickly. Then you can have your fun.” Frost said.
Caitlin thought back to Frost, “I will not do that, Frost. He is my friend, and he doesn’t see me that way.”
“Oh, you don’t think so? I have seen him checking you out all night. If you don’t do it I will.” Frost thought.
“Fine.” Caitlin thought.
“Hey Barry, I could use another drink. How about you?” Caitin asked.
“Yeah, what was it you were drinking? I said I would get this round.” Barry said.
“Vodka and Tonic.” Caitlin said and Barry went to the bar for more drinks.
Barry got back to the table and he and Caitlin drinked their drinks and talked about how to fight against Peekaboo. “I think that she needs to see where she is going or she can’t teleport.” Caitlin said.
“That is an interesting theory. We just need to find a way to test it.” Barry said.
“We just need to get her somewhere dark and that should work.” Caitlin said.
“Yeah, I guess that could work. I just don’t know how to get her to somewhere that could work though.” Barry said.
“We will think of something Barry. I am going to get another drink. You want one?” Caitlin asked.
“Sure, why not.” Barry said.
When Caitlin got back to the table, Barry saw her stumble just a bit and knew that he should probably stop her after this drink. They had both been here long enough and it was probably past time for Peekaboo and her boyfriend to show up if they were going to tonight. When he saw that Caitlin was getting near the end of her drink he got up to go and make sure that everything was taken care of at the bar, which was probably a bad decision because when he turned around Caitlin was on the stage and asking for him to come up there with her. He did what she wanted and they sang the song “Summer Lovin” from Grease. After that was done Barry was going to make sure that they both left the bar. Caitlin didn’t need anymore to drink.
The two co-workers exited the bar and went into the alley where no one could see them and Frost thought, “Jackpot. We are in business Caity. Flash is taking us home.”
“Ok, so it wasn’t a bad idea you had. So, sober me up so that this speeding doesn’t make me sick.” Caitlin thought.
“You got it Caity.” Frost thought, and Caitlin could feel herself sober up immediately.
Barry sped the two of them to Caitlin’s apartment and then waited for Caitlin to unlock her door. He was about to leave when Caitlin asked if he would like to come in for some coffee. He thought about it for a second and then accepted because he wasn’t ready for the night to be over either.
“This is a nice place you have here Caitlin.” Barry said.
“Thanks Barry. So, here is your coffee.” Caitlin said.
“So Caitlin, I was wondering, how is it that you seem sober now, but when we left the bar, you were really drunk?” Barry asked.
“Well, I have something to tell you Barry. Let me finish with this, then you can ask questions.” Caitlin said and Barry nodded.
“My dad died of ALS and he ran a test on me and saw that I have the possibility of coming down with it as well. He came up with a treatment that had to do with cryogenics. The treatment worked on me. I will not come down with that disease now. The unforeseen consequences of that was that I developed what was considered an alternate personality. My mother and father found a way to make her dormant when I was younger, but she was awaken when the accelerator blew up. So, I have what you might call an alternate personality named Frost, and she is the reason why I am sober now, because she has healing properties like you do.” Caitlin said.
“That is interesting. Do you think I can meet your other personality?” Barry asked.
“I can do that. This can be unsettling, so don’t freak out.” Caitlin said as she closed her eyes and her hair turned white and her skin turned pale and when she opened her eyes they were blue.
“Hey cutie. Seeing you with my own eyes makes me think you look even better.” Frost said.
“Well, you are pretty as well.” Barry said.
“Thank you. So, I am going to give back control to Caity, but just so you know, she is into you.” Frost said as she closed her eyes and her hair turned brown and she opened her eyes and they were brown.
“So, what do you think?” Caitlin asked.
“It is a bit weird, but I will get used to it.” Barry said.
“Good. I don't want to let anyone else know right now.” Caitlin said.
“Then why let me know?” Barry asked.
“I think it is obvious. Frost did tell you that I was into you, I hope you feel the same way though.” Caitlin said.
“I do, so where do we go from here?” Barry said.
“Well, I think we should go on another date sometime. I think we did pretty good tonight and being that we both seemed to have a good time. I think we can consider this our first date.” Caitlin said.
“Sounds good to me. So, why did you really ask me in tonight? So, you could tell me how you feel about me?” Barry asked.
“Well, there were three reasons really. The first was to tell you how I feel, the second was to tell you about Frost, and the third was to do this.” Caitlin said as she approached Barry and kissed him with all the passion that she had in her body.
The makeout session got really heated and they started to let their hands roam the other’s body. Barry wasn’t expecting this tonight when he left his house, but it definitely looked like he would be having sex tonight.
“Are you sure about this Caitlin?” Barry asked.
“I wouldn’t have invited you in if I wasn’t. Now let’s go back to my room so we can have some fun.” Caitlin said and Barry picked her up and carried her to the bedroom while still kissing her.
